Common Pregnancy Niggles
Research has found evidence that Acupuncture can provide a safe, drug free alternative for the relief of pregnancy related symptoms. It can effectively help a wide range of health issues during pregnancy including back or pelvic pain, nausea, heartburn, sinusitis, fatigue and emotional problems.
Labour preparation & natural induction
Acupuncture can play an important role in preparing you for birth. Research suggests that regular treatment in your final weeks can reduce the duration of your labour (DB). If you’re overdue, acupuncture & acupressure can be used to support induction and pain relief in clinic and at home
Turning your breech baby
Several reviews have found that moxibustion (or moxa - a warming herb) has a positive effect on correcting breech presentation. The moxa protocol, which Jo teaches for self-treatment at home, is often recommended by midwives. Anecdotal feedback from patients suggest success rates are high.
Jo has had a great deal of success patients during pregnancy. If you’d like to book you can do so online or via our remote reception on 01273 251575.
